Hi, I’m Buffy Owens

Somatic Coach

I’ve been doing this work for 20+ years, and believe it or not, it still lights me up every day. I love helping people move beyond what they think is possible—shifting mindsets, tuning into the body’s signals, and learning to trust the wisdom that’s already there.

Conscious Movements came to me during a Zen retreat in 2004. It was a pivotal moment, and I knew instantly that the next phase of my life would be to live my vows through my work.

Today, I empower people—especially midlife women—to move well, age well, and create the impact and life they desire. I teach them how to work with their biology— aligning deep nourishment, natural rhythms, and simple healthy habits with how the body is designed to function.

We’re not just talking about movement. We’re talking about less stress, biological rhythms, deep nourishment, energy, and profound trust in your body—the real keys to aging well and feeling amazing in your skin.
