Initially, I came to Buffy to see if the Feldenkrais Method could help me overcome limitations from an injury. I’ve stayed because it offered that and so much more.

Now, at 62, I benefit on many other levels. Each class is a journey of discovery for me. They’re challenging but mentally and physically rewarding. I find a chance to laugh at myself and the habits I’ve developed over the years, habits that may have been useful when I was younger but now limit me. With Buffy’s guidance, I find new and easier ways to move, and my listening, concentration, and observation skills all improve.

I’m Buffy Owens, and I want you to understand the language of your body so that you can fully experience life & have the impact you desire.

Now more than ever, we need embodied, attuned, and empathic presence. As human beings, our very essence is woven from connection - the innate desire to co-regulate, co-heal, and co-evolve.

We have the opportunity to change the world together.

Our culture has prioritized the search for fullness, nourishment, and connection outside of ourselves and our bodies. It’s a culture that leads to disintegration and feelings of separation. I believe returning to a sense of wholeness and deep connection is possible. That’s why I’m passionate about teaching people how to understand the language of their bodies so that they can listen to the wisdom from within.

This often looks like cultivating safety in our biology, laying a foundation for nourishment, and tapping into the potency of gentle movement and the power of breathwork. So, please join me in exploring how to live embodied and well.

Sounder Sleep & Peaceful Awakening

I came home exhausted yesterday after a social function and went straight to bed, but instead of putting on my audiobook or watching something, instead, I searched for a "sleep" lesson from your site - head up and down, back and forth. It was the perfect thing to get me right to sleep (and to get me away from addictive habits). This morning, instead of dozing, I searched for a tongue lesson to do before I even got out of bed. What a wonderful way to end and start the day. I could feel right away how just these few minutes can go a long way to integrate the kinds of things I want to be integrating.
