This event is only open to BODY+BRAIN Members.

Learn how you can have a more conscious experience of your own body. Regular practice of Awareness Through Movement improves how you move and alleviates pain by minimizing the physiological and psychological stress associated with restricted functions.

In this 90-minute virtual class, Feldenkrais teacher Buffy Owens will introduce you to the core principles of Awareness Through Movement. This will ensure that you can get the most out of your membership and be on your way to moving well. But more than that, you'll be a part of an interactive class so that each instruction can help you to refine the way that you approach an Awareness Through Movement lesson.

This Introductory Class Includes: 

  • a live and interactive Awareness Through Movement lessons
  • a brief overview of the Feldenkrais Method
  • discussion and Q&A so you can find out how Feldenkrais can help you
  • suggestions on which movement lessons to explore next in the BODY + BRAIN Membership

Please note that the class content is the same each month. This class is designed specifically for those who are new to the BODY + BRAIN Membership.
