This series was designed to unravel the tension in the upper back, shoulders, and neck. We live in the midst of an epidemic of back, neck, and shoulder pain that are brought on by multiple causes — including leaning into our computer and phone screen.
This series will help you to feel light, free and mobile again! Each week we'll explore an Awareness Through Movement® lesson designed to release your upper spine, neck, and shoulders. You'll also receive several short mindfulness & movement practices created specifically to help keep you on track.
Pay What You Want Classes
The Pay What You Want, or Dana, classes are part of my Pay It Forward program. These classes are held online so that you can join from anywhere. Once you register, you'll receive information on how to join via Zoom.
This mostly side-lying exploration of flexion and extension is a delicious way to explore getting taller and smaller. When we look at sea creatures opening and closing, flowers unfolding from their buds, the pulsing of galaxies millions of light years away, we feel the connection between that pulsation of life and the gentle perpetual pulsations of our own bodies.
